New Kat Von D Palette Angeles!!!

'Sup peoples!  Alright so I shop online constantly...kinda of like window shopping, but just online, and I came across this new palette by Kat Von D!! I'm a huge fan of Kat's palettes I have EVERY single one that she's made.  I think they're great quality as far as packaging and the eye shadows, they're also great to travel with.  This new palette is again white like her must recent one in Truth, which is lovely, and it has neutrals and blues.  There are no cream eye shadows in this palettes, which for me is another plus.  Because if I had to give a con about these palettes it would be her cream shadows.  I do not use my palettes every single day and the cream shadows get a little hard and difficult to work with after about 6 months, but  besides that it's all good!  This palette is not available online yet, but you can provide your email address and Sephora will send you an email when it becomes available, which is what I did.  The colors I see which are repromotes are leather, which is in her Ludwig and Beethoven Palettes, Rehab which is in her most recent palette Truth and Peggy, which is in her Momento Mori palette.

Alright so what you've been waiting for....drum roll please.  Introducing the new Kat Von D palette in Angeles......isn't it just beauti-mus...lol!

COMPARISON: Bliss Lemon+Sage Body Butter VS. BBW Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion

 VS.

Summer is coming and lemon is a perfect scent for the season! I was given the Bliss Lemon+Sage Body Butter by my dad and I purchased the Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion myself a few months ago. You might be wondering why I'm comparing a body butter with a body lotion but it is because these two products have relatively the same texture. You can purchase the Bliss product from Sephora and the Lemon Vanilla product from Bath & Body Works! Alright, here is the comparison!

Why the Bliss Lemon+Sage Body Butter is better than the BBW Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion:
  • It makes skin smoother than the BBW lotion does.
  • Easy to use squeeze tube
  • Is absorbed by skin faster
  • Is targeted and suitable for both men and women. (The Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion is more suitable for women.)

Why the BBW Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion is better than the Bliss Lemon+Sage Body Butter:
  • Cheaper! (An 8 oz bottle costs $10.50 whereas a 6.7 oz bottle of the Bliss product costs $28!)
  • Leaves more of a glow on skin
  • Smells better! Lemon Vanilla is sweet smelling whereas the Bliss body butter smells almost like Eucalyptus.
  • Better looking packaging

Personally, I like the Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion more solely because it smells better. lol However, if you are okay with a more herb-y smell then I think the Bliss product is better because it more effective on the skin. Both products do come in smaller sizes that are a bit more affordable. The Lemon Vanilla Body Lotion comes in a 3 fl oz bottle that costs $5; the Bliss Body Butter comes in a 1.7 oz tube for $6 (again the BBW product gives you more for your money.) But in the end, it is up to you to decide which is more suitable for your needs.

I hope you found this post helpful! Let me know if there is anything you would like me to compare next!

Saint Patricks Day Look!

Ok...So here's my Saint Patty's Day look.  When I think of Saint Patricks Day I think of pots of gold, little green men and people getting pinched...lol! So my look today is more gold than green, anyway I hope you like it!

Asian Insider: Bubble Tea!!

I hope you are not disturbed by this picture. haha You may be wondering why there is black stuff at the bottom of this cup but I promise it is not mold or anything. This is a picture of bubble tea! The other day, I was walking through the Chinese Supermarket and saw the food counter that I always go to to get bubble tea! Bubble tea is both non-alcoholic and non-carbonated. It is an iced drink that is pretty sweet and is basically tea with a lot of milk in it! :) The taste is very distinct and I LOVE it!!!! To mix up the texture a bit, at the bottom of each cup are giant black tapioca balls and this is why this drink is consumed with a giant straw! It comes in several other flavors but I have never really been in the mood to try one. haha (Let me know if there flavors that you recommend!) Bubble Tea is a drink that I will probably be having a lot of in college :) lol

Here are some locations of places that I got great Bubble Tea from!

So a few months ago i came across these Disco ball crystal platform pumps by Gianmarco Lorenzi  and i just stared at them in awe for a minute. They are so sparkly and sexy! I would love to grab a pair, but they cost around USD $2,795! I think i'll stick to admiring them in these photographs for now. I'm putting them on my "Super Wish List". If you're interested in purchasing these shoes they are available at Gregory's Shoes.

ALL 22 E.L.F. MINERAL SWATCHES!!!

Before I decided to buy E.L.F.'s mineral eye shadows I went online to do a little research about them, and I was shocked at what I found.  Which was pretty much and whole bunch of nothing...lol.  I was looking for collective swatches of all of the shadows that were available at the time, and I found a few, but they weren't really good in quality.  So here's my attempt to help anyone out who is considering purchasing these shadows.  I personally love them and would recommend them to a friend and repurchase them.  I even used one on my wedding day!  I tried my best to get the best quality pictures using my old camera. So, I hope this helps someone, enjoy!

These were swatched over Urban Decay's Primer Potion and the first for pictures were taken in direct sunlight, while the last picture was taken inside and night under a 90 watt bulb.

From Left to Right: Glamorous, Sassy, Temptress (matte), Wild, Natural
